Our Bible Studies

We believe the study of the Bible is our way to know the promise given by Peter in 2 Peter 1:3.  The Apostle Peter says, "seeing that His divine power has granted to us everything pertaining to life and godliness, through the true knowledge of Him who called us by His glory and excellence." (NASB)  Therefore with Peter promise through the knowledge given to Him by the Holy Spirit, how do we find out what all we have been given?

We believe Paul tells us through His admonition to the young evangelist, Timothy.  Paul says in 2 Timothy 2:15, "Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth." (KJV)  We as well are given the scriptural admonition and example of the Bereans when the good news of Jesus Christ was being preached during Paul's Second Missionary Journey.  In Acts 17:11 says, "Now these were more noble-minded than those in Thessalonica, for they received the word with great eagerness, xamining the Scriptures daily to see whether these things were so."  (NASB)  We must reach out to the word of God and have confidence in God and His word.  We can believe in the scriptures because the Apostle Paul writes to Timothy and says in 2 Timothy 3:16, "All scripture is inspired by God and is profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness sothat the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work." (NASB)

Therefore our efforts in Bible studies are very important.  We have Bible studies on Sunday morning, Sunday evening, and on Wednesday evening.

Sunday Morning - The Missionary Journeys of Paul
Wednesday Evening - 1 & 2 Thessalonians

We also have Home Bible Studies in the homes of some of our members.  If you would like to be part of one of our current home studies, let us know.  And if you would like to have a Bible study in your home, we are ready to help you with that.

Come and visit us.  Come and join in our Bible class discussions as we study the Scriptures.  We will welcome you and each member of the congregation will demonstrate God's love towards you as they do to all who come to hear the Lord's word.
